Chapter 2

The Boss is a character which seems to be strict but also friendly

Curley is a boxer and son of the boss, he thinks that he is higher than other because his father is boss

Candy is an one-hander caretaker

Candy's Dog is old and blind.

Carlson is and average ranch worker

Slim is a rancher, kind of similar to George

This chapter begins also with description of the setting, same as chapter 1. The setting is at the ranch.First we are introduced to one-handed caretaker named Candy. He warns George and Lennie that the boss was mad because they didn’t come last night. After a while the boss arrives and asks them few questions. One of them is why does George care too much about Lennie. George lies by replying that Lennie is his cousin and that he should take care of him. Then we are introduced to Curley and Curley’s wife. Candy warns George and Lennie that Curley is son of the boss and that he doesn’t like big guys, which Lennie is. The next two characters to be introduced are Slim and Carlson which seems to be friendly. The final character is Candy’s old and blind dog.
